General Information applicable to Special Courses

Food & Accommodation

Indian vegetarian food is available at the canteen in the campus on concession rates. Dormitory type accommodation is provided with bath facilities.

Classes & Holidays

Weekly 5 days classes will be held from Monday to Friday in theory and practical. Days declared by the institution and Saturdays & Sundays are holidays in case no duty is assigned.

Medium of Instruction

Main language - English
Other languages - Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil

Dress code

Students should appear in modest dressing both in the campus and Hostel. Paramedical students should wear White & white uniform during the working hours.

Yoga, Meditation & Prayer

Yoga is a part of curriculum. Meditation & Prayer are compulsory for all students on working days

Attendance

80% attendance is compulsory to appear for the examination by the end of the course.

Certificate

A course completed certificate will be issued by the end of the course by the institution on the following conditions:

Attendance 80% attendance is compulsory for the issuance of certificate
Performance The overall performance will be evaluated and should be satisfactory
Discipline The students should adhere to all the rules and regulations of the
    institution pertaining to the course
Examination Student’s performance in the examinations will be assessed
    and to be satisfactory

Mode of payment

One time payment at the time of admission either in Cash or by DD in favour of “Arsha Yoga Vidya Peetam Trust, Coimbatore”.

In both the cases, receipt of payment will be acknowledged.

Refund of Course Fee

Once the course commences there will be no refund of fees. If a student informs his / her inability to attend the course 30 days prior to the commencing date, 75 % of the fees will be refunded and if a student informs his / her inability to attend the course less than 30 days prior to the commencing date, 50 % of the fees will be refunded; from which bank charges and other expenses etc will also be deducted. The value of Indian currency at the time of payment will be taken into consideration.

OR

If any student is not able to attend the course as scheduled, the same should be informed in advance and he/she can attend the same course at another time within 1 year with a prior notice of 3 months. In such case, any revision of fees or refund will not be applicable.

Placement

Institution does not guarantee job after completion of the course. However, depending upon the vacancies, deserving candidates may be considered for absorption into the institution or its sister concerns in India or abroad.

Criteria for admission

The candidates will have to appear for an interview on the basis of which admission will be given.

Original and attested copies of mark statements
Original and attested copies of S.S.L.C. certificate for age proof
Original and attested copies of Transfer certificate and Conduct certificate granted
by the institution last attended
Medical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner
Copies of any other relevant certificates
A passport-size photograph

Original certificates will be returned after verification.
