word “Arsha” literally means - as taught by the seers or sages. The

Achievements
Arsha
Yoga Vidya Peetam Trust has been engaged in imparting Ayurveda and Yoga
education on the back ground of Indian knowledge systems both for Indian
and foreign nationals since 1990. Special courses are being offered to
foreign students to cater to their needs. All courses focus on the theoretical
and practical aspects of the systems, for the students after the course
would be able to use their knowledge practically for themselves and humanity
at large.
Since
we do not want to compromise in terms of quality education, we take minimum
number of students each time in order to give individual attention. Thousands
of students across the world have been trained by us so far.
One
of the major achievements to point out is the Gurukula type of free
education given to selected Indian students for a period of 7 years, which
is a big commitment on our part. The students are given training in Indian
culture, heritage and tradition and moreover, given exposure to Indian
knowledge systems. Those who come out successfully after the course are
absorbed by us as new exponents to share this wisdom to the coming
generations. A few of them are working abroad with the mission of
propagating Ayurveda and Yoga.
Since
2000, we have been conducting an Ayurveda orientation education programme
for 5-7 days incorporating Vedic Darsanas and philosophies in the Gurukula
education model on various branches of Ayurveda for the sake of Ayurveda
students in the country and abroad. Thousands of students and many
Ayurveda teachers have participated in this program.
Our
new exponent centre Samaahita at Coimbatore offers Ayurveda Consultations
and Yoga Training Programs for local candidates.
The
Ayurveda treatment offered by us helps a lot of people suffering from
various ailments.
