Chavitti Uzhichil (Foot massage)

Chavitti Uzhichil is a unique massage treatment – a blend of Ayurveda and Dhanurveda (Archery). This massage is done on the whole body using mainly the feet and also the palms by the masseur, putting medicated herbal oil all over the body and head of the person. The masseur gently moves the feet controlling the pressure, balancing on a rope hung on the ceiling. It needs more than an hour to complete the entire procedure.

Though the process is very laborious, it gives very relaxing and soothing experience to the person who undergoes this treatment.

This massage technique is originally from the state of Kerala – extreme south of India, being used and kept alive in their Martial Art practice – Kalaripayattu. In Kalaripayattu it is compulsory that each and every learner should take a course of treatment every year for enhancing his strength, flexibility, stamina and speed of limbs.

Course of Treatment

Normally it is a course of either 7 days or 14 days. Depending up on the condition of the person, it could be extended to 21 days or more.

Cost of treatment

The total cost for 14 days would be around 450 Euro to 550 Euro varying as per the cost of medicines /type of treatments and is subject to changes.

For the Indians the rate is Rs.25,000/- to Rs. 30,000/-

In certain conditions some additional treatments like Kizhi, Pichu, etc are done as of necessity.

Accommodation

The Room charge/day – 7 Euro. The cost of treatment, Medicines, Food and other expenses are additional. The total charges per day including accommodation works out approximately 35 Euro.

Booking

People desirous of taking treatments are requested to intimate us in advance with all clinical details. Our physicians will evaluate the condition and determine the suitable time and procedure for treatment. An advance of Rs.15000/- or 300 Euro to be transferred to our account, on receipt of which admission will be confirmed.

In both the cases, receipt of payment will be acknowledged.

Refund policy

If any patient is not able to attend the treatment as scheduled, the same should be informed in advance and he/she can take the treatment at another time within 2 year with a prior notice of 3 months. In such case, any revision of treatment charges will also be applicable.

In case, the patient fails to come for treatment and would like to use the payment for any other patient whom he/she recommends, within the stipulated period the same can be availed.
